How does your service work?

Our service allows you to get prescriptions for specific medication areas without seeing a doctor face-to-face. Our clinicians offer you a safe, affordable and discreet alternative to seeing your local doctor.

Fill out a short medical questionnaire for your desired treatment and pay for the consultation online. Our doctors aim to process weekday orders within an hour of receipt (weekend orders are processed within 4 hours of receipt).

Order online, collect in-pharmacy
Same-day collection of your prescription is now available at participating pharmacies when you order before 4pm Mon-Fri.

Select the 'in-pharmacy collection' option at checkout, choose the store, and your prescription should be ready for collection within two hours. Simply pay for your medication when you collect. Subject to opening times and stock availability.

Prescription by post
You should receive your paper prescription within five to seven working days of placing your order.

Each prescription is hand-signed by one of our clinicians in London and sent by Air Mail. Please be aware of potential postal delays, particularly if you are ordering time-sensitive medicine.

Alternatively, request a paper prescription via the post for delivery within 5-7 working days. Once you have received it, you can take it to your preferred pharmacy and buy your prescribed items.

If the doctor does not prescribe your order, you will be automatically refunded at no extra cost.

Is your service safe and legitimate?

Completely. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission in the UK, and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) in Northern Ireland.

The Medical Council of Ireland’s Guide to Professional Conduct and Ethics of Registered Medical Practitioners states that medical services can be provided remotely as long as certain requirements are met. These requirements mostly concern patient data—something we take very seriously. Section 62 outlines our doctors' specific responsibilities in providing remote medical care.

Can I get medicines through the post?

No. It is illegal to provide prescription medicines through the post in Ireland. We can post you a hand-signed paper prescription and once you receive it, you can take it to your local pharmacy just like you would with any other prescription.

Alternatively, you can choose 'in-pharmacy collection'. With this service you can collect your prescription at a participating LloydsPharmacy store and purchase your medication at the same time.

How long will it take for my prescription to arrive?

Each prescription is hand-signed by one of our clinicians in London, so it can take up to seven working days to reach Ireland, depending on the time of year. Please be aware of potential postal delays, particularly if you are ordering time-sensitive medicine.

If you require your prescription sooner, we suggest you use the in-pharmacy collection option.
