How does your service work?

Our service allows you to get prescriptions for specific treatment areas without seeing a doctor face to face.

  • Browse your condition on the site
  • Complete a short online medical questionnaire for treatment
  • Our doctors review your answers to ensure treatment is safe
  • A paper prescription is sent through the post if treatment is appropriate.

For some treatments, such as routine contraception, you will need to have your blood pressure, height and weight checked at your local pharmacy before prescriptions can be redeemed.

How do I order?

Fill out a short medical questionnaire for your desired treatment and pay for the consultation online. Our doctors aim to process weekday orders within an hour of receipt (weekend orders are processed within 4 hours of receipt).

If appropriate for treatment, you will be sent a paper prescription via the post within 2-3 working days. Once you have received it, you can take it to your preferred pharmacy and buy your prescribed items.

If the doctor does not prescribe your order, you will be automatically refunded at no extra cost.

Is your service safe and legitimate?

Completely. All our doctors are registered with the Medical Council of Ireland and we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission in the UK, and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) in Northern Ireland.

The Medical Council of Ireland’s Guide to Professional Conduct and Ethics of Registered Medical Practitioners states that medical services can be provided remotely as long as certain requirements are met. These requirements mostly concern patient data—something we take very seriously. Section 62 outlines our doctors' specific responsibilities in providing remote medical care.

Can I get medicines through the post?

No. It is illegal to provide prescription medicines through the post in Ireland. We send you a hand signed paper prescription and once you receive it, you can take it to your local pharmacy just like you would with any other prescription.

How long will it take for my prescription to arrive?

Each prescription is hand signed by one of our clinicians in London, so it can take up to seven working days to reach Ireland, depending on the time of year. Please be aware of potential postal delays, particularly if you are ordering time-sensitive medicine such as the contraceptive pill.
