Cookies notice

We use standard technology called 'cookies' on this website. A cookie is a small data file that is stored on your computer's hard drive by your web browser when you access a website.

Cookies enable us to understand who has seen which pages and advertisements, to determine how frequently particular pages are visited and to show us the most popular areas of our website. They allow us to enrich your experience of using the website and make it more user-friendly.

Cookies can collect personal-identifiable information such as data entered through a web form, or login details. Please note, if you do turn off cookies, this will limit the service that we are able to provide to you and may affect your visitor experience.

Types of cookies

We use the following types of cookies on www.lloydsonlinedoctor.ie:

Strictly necessary

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

Performance cookies

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site, and will not be able to monitor its performance.

Functional cookies

These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies then some or all of these services may not function properly.

Marketing cookies

These cookies may be set through our site by our advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store directly personal information, but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.

Session cookies

Session cookies enable us to keep track of your movement through the website and allow you to use the site quickly and easily without having to re-enter information. For example, they allow our site to remember what you have added to your shopping basket enabling you to make your order without re-entering all your choices again at the checkout. Without session cookies, a new page would not recognise your past activities on all prior pages and your shopping basket at checkout would always remain empty.

Persistent cookies

Persistent cookies help us remember your settings for each time you visit. They enable us to authenticate who you are once you register and to remember your preferences the next time you visit the site. This gives you faster and more convenient access each time you visit our site.

Third party cookies

We may use cookies that are set by a partner company to enable us to track user browsing habits helping us to improve how the site runs and personalise your user experience. Third party cookies also facilitate campaign delivery through advertisements and email activity as well as providing analytical reporting for our website.

Removing and disabling cookies

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking ‘Select Cookie Preferences’ at the bottom of the page. Please note, if you do turn cookies off this will limit the service that we are able to provide to you and may affect your experience of our website. While you will still be able to browse around the site, the functions that allow you to add items to your basket, set up a new account or access an existing account will not be available.

If you prefer, you can set your browser to disable or reject cookies. This will mean that no website will be able to place cookies on your computer. You can do this by adjusting the preferences within your browser. Each internet browser is different, so check the ‘help’ menu on your browser to learn how to change your cookie preference or visit www.allaboutcookies.org for further information on cookies and how to switch them off.

To find out more about how we use your information, see our Privacy notice.
